Create a glass sculpture by melting and fusing glass rods over a hot torch flame.
This workshop introduces the basics of flameworking with borosilicate glass rods, including how to safely operate a gas-fueled torch and shape solid glass rods. Explore techniques for melting and forming glass while gaining a better understanding of heat control and movement.
This workshop is a great introduction for beginners and an assured skill-builder for returning students.
This two-day workshop meets on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
