Join renowned glass artists Tom and Sage Holland for a two-day workshop in advanced glass beadmaking.
Explore a variety of techniques including transparent color overlays, intricate dotting and stratification, and detailed stringer work. This workshop also covers twisted cane and latticinio patterns, diverse bead forms, and methods for clear casing and surface manipulation detailing.
Students will experiment with both traditional and contemporary approaches, creating solid, hollow, and blown beads enhanced with foils, dichroic glass, and reactive materials. This hands-on experience offers deep insight into color, pattern, and form through expert demonstration and guided practice.
This workshop meets on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
All supplies included.
